Real Ghostbusters: NOW Comics Volume 1 Issue 7

NOW Comics Vol. 1 #7 is the seventh issue of The Real Ghostbusters comic series published by NOW Comics, released in March 1989. Plot

The Lunar Avenger and the Crimson Crimebuster, a pair of costumed superheroes, come to the Ghostbusters for help when their old archenemy Fu Fang has returned. Alongside that threat, the team also has to contend with Caesar Caldoni and his criminal gang, who judged it safe to move against the Ghostbusters now that Webby McBain's gang was trapped and removed three issues earlier.

Notes

The Dark Dwarf is the only member of the Crime Patrol who does not appear in the present-day scenes of the issue. This absence is left unexplained, though the character's appearance suggests possible alien origins, raising the possibility that the Dark Dwarf returned to a home planet after the Crime Patrol disbanded rather than remaining on Earth. The Crimson Crimebuster later appears in flashback in NOW Comics Vol. 1 #20, while the Lunar Avenger is mentioned in that same issue.
