Season 2
1 min read
Season 2 of The Real Ghostbusters is the show's first large syndicated run, a block of half-hour episodes produced as a weekday strip rather than the Saturday-morning format of the short first season. The bulk of these episodes aired across 1987, which is why so many of them shipped in a tight stretch.1
The principal voice cast for the run was Lorenzo Music as Peter Venkman, Maurice LaMarche as Egon Spengler, Frank Welker as Ray Stantz and Slimer, Arsenio Hall as Winston Zeddemore, and Laura Summer as Janine Melnitz. Among the writers working this season was J. Michael Straczynski, who scripted several of its best-remembered installments.
Individual episode pages are listed below. The rest of the series is broken out by season (Season 1, Season 3, and onward), and a full chronological list is on the Real Ghostbusters episode guide.
