James Van Hise served as the primary writer throughout Volume 1 of the NOW Comics Real Ghostbusters series, and wrote the majority of its 28 issues. John Tobias, best known later for his work on the Mortal Kombat franchise, handled both pencils and cover art for this issue.
A spirit known as the Weather Gizzard is unleashing dangerous weather phenomena. The Ghostbusters respond to the threat and ultimately succeed in trapping the entity, aided by two yeti-like creatures named Lem and Xoryl.
