Hannah Duke

Hannah Duke (also credited as Hannah Goodfellow Duke) is an actress with screen credits spanning film and television across the United States and Canada. She trained in Performing Arts and has worked steadily in genre television and independent features. She is best known to Ghostbusters fans for playing Reseda in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021).

Career

Duke's television work includes a guest appearance as Margo in one episode of the supernatural western series Wynonna Earp (2016), a guest appearance as Teressa on the family drama When Calls the Heart, and the role of Jane in two episodes of the Canadian crime procedural Tribal (2020).¹ She appeared as Tess in the limited series A Teacher (2020), an FX on Hulu limited series starring Kate Mara and Nick Robinson that drew critical attention for its portrayal of an inappropriate teacher-student relationship.¹

Her film credits include Burn Your Maps (2016), the comedy #Roxy (2018, as Deana), and the Canadian supernatural horror film Don't Say Its Name (2021, as Jessica). Short film appearances include The Ties That Bind (2023, as Eugenia Ryder) and Balestra (2024, as Neera).¹

Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Duke played Reseda in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), a supporting role as a teenager from Summerville, Oklahoma who is part of the social circle around Lucky Domingo.¹² Reseda works at Spinners Roller Hop and is among the group of local teens who gather at the summit of the Shandor Mining Company property. She is present the night the group forms around the mine elevator after hearing a sound from below: a spectral face briefly materializes deep in the shaft and speaks the word "Gozer." The group dismisses it as a prank, though the incident sets larger events in motion.³

Two days later, Reseda is one of the teenagers seated nearby at Spinners Roller Hop as Phoebe Spengler, Trevor Spengler, Lucky, and Podcast discuss Gozer and Ivo Shandor. She turns toward the group and listens as Podcast elaborates on the local history.³

During the period surrounding the film's release, Duke's castmate Finn Wolfhard publicly shared an appeal on her behalf seeking a kidney donor for her father, bringing wider attention to the cause among the film's fanbase.⁴
