Early life and education

Muziani grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey. He attended William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey, where he studied media production and co-founded the student production company Test Pattern, serving as its executive producer.1 He has credited the program with grounding his early creative and technical instincts.

After graduating, Muziani pursued stage acting in the Philadelphia and South Jersey regional theater circuit, landing leading roles in productions including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Over the River and Through the Woods, Rumors, The Odd Couple, Doubt, The House of Blue Leaves, Mr. Hart & Mr. Brown, and Here on the Flight Path.1 His performance as Lenny Ganz in Rumors earned him a Perry Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play, and his work in Forum won Best Leading Actor at the Burlington County Footlighters.1

Career

Muziani built a parallel career in sports broadcasting. From 2007 to 2008 he worked as a web reporter covering the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL), and in 2014 he joined Greater Media as an on-air update anchor for 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia.1 He also co-anchored "3 From the Guys" sports updates for 97.3 ESPN FM in Atlantic City and contributed to the Radiovision Network online.4 His television broadcasting work includes three years (2008-2011) hosting the daytime talk show Better Philly on PHL17 in Philadelphia.1

In 2020 Muziani created, wrote, produced, and began hosting Hindsight Tonight, a weekly satirical comedy-news capsule that airs on YouTube and other streaming platforms.1 The series earned him a Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy Award nomination for writing and has won consecutive Gold Telly Awards for Best Online Series in 2022 and 2023, along with multiple additional Silver Telly, W3, Davey, Communicator, and Viddy Awards.1

His screen credits span more than a decade. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024)

Muziani was cast in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire as the Taxi Driver (In Traffic), a minor on-screen role that appears in Chapter 13 of the film.3 In the scene, the driver is stuck in Chinatown traffic during a summer heatwave when Garraka releases the Death Chill over New York City. He looks up at the sky as the weather shifts instantaneously from sunshine to darkness, wind, and supernatural winter cold, and the wind blows his cap from his head. The character had written dialogue, but the lines were cut before the film's final release.
