Plot
A major rainstorm sweeps through the city, forcing Peter Venkman to cancel a promised trip to Lompoc's Amusement Park, which has posted fliers throughout the Firehouse advertising its run from November 12 to the 19th. Peter advises Slimer to stay home and use his imagination. After Ecto-1 departs, Slimer sits down at a draftsman's desk near the kitchen and begins to draw.
His first creation, a kitten, springs to life and interacts with him, but quickly spins off into its own mini-chase involving an animated dog. Inspired, Slimer draws a full amusement park and flies directly into the drawing. Inside, he visits a concessions stand, picks up a large pencil, and proceeds through the park's attractions.
At a ball-throw booth, Slimer cannot knock over the milk bottles with conventional baseballs, so he draws himself a giant baseball and a giant bottle to replace the three smaller targets. The bottle takes offense and retaliates by throwing the baseball back at him. Slimer flees to the bumper car arena, where an oversized car pursues him until he is launched onto a roller coaster. The coaster cars turn hostile and chase him through the tracks. Slimer is eventually propelled back into the Firehouse rec room, but the roller coaster cars follow him out of the drawing. He draws a set of tracks leading to the kitchen sink and lures the cars down into it, only for them to burst out of the refrigerator and trample him again. Finally, Slimer draws a tunnel on the wall to trap the cars inside it, then erases the tunnel. With the threat contained, the sun begins breaking through the storm clouds. Slimer promptly draws more storm clouds and goes to sleep.

- The episode was recorded on August 24 and 25, 1988. Dave Coulier recorded his parts alone on August 25, 1988.
- In the episode's visual commentary, writers McCoy and Hickey reveal the script went through three phases before ultimately becoming a tribute to the children's book Harold and the Purple Crayon.
- The network specifically requested an episode showing children they could use their imagination.
- Lompoc's Amusement Park is associated with Lompoc Incorporated, the same company that provided supplies to Slimer and Chilly Cooper in The Not-So-Great Outdoors.
- This is the only appearance of the draftsman's desk situated near the kitchen in the Firehouse.
- Writers McCoy and Hickey deliberately inserted as much Tex Avery and Bob Clampett-style animation gag material as they could.
- An earlier draft included a sequence where Slimer would take items from a closet to impersonate Bruce Springsteen, Superman, and Julia Child. This was cut before production.
- Slimer erasing the train tunnel is an explicit salute to Looney Tunes animation.
- In the August 24, 1988 Revised Final Draft of the script, Winston Zeddemore was slated to appear alongside Peter at the start of the episode.
