Slimer! (NOW Comics)

Slimer! was an American comic book series published by NOW Comics from May 1989 to November 1990, running for 19 issues. The series was based on the Slimer! animated spin-off of The Real Ghostbusters animated television show. A companion to NOW Comics' concurrent Real Ghostbusters series, it featured original short stories starring Slimer alongside the Ghostbusters cast. Beginning with issue #12 the page count was filled in part by reprinted short stories from Marvel Comics Ltd's UK-published Real Ghostbusters title. The series ended when NOW Comics was forced to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 1990 through creditor action by Quebecor Printing and General Learning Corporation. One final special was published in 1993.
