JoAnn Perritano is an American film producer and unit production manager whose career spans more than three decades of studio and independent productions.1 She is best known for her extensive work within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for her transition from unit production manager to executive producer on major franchise films, including serving as executive producer on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024).

Perritano began her production career in the early 1990s, receiving credits on films including American Yakuza (1993). Through the late 1990s and early 2000s she accumulated a broad range of unit production manager and line producer credits across studio projects: The Mod Squad (1999), Love & Basketball (2000), The Family Man (2000), Rush Hour 2 (2001), and Red Dragon (2002).1
Her profile rose significantly through work on large-scale franchise films in the 2000s and 2010s. She served as co-producer and unit production manager on G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), unit production manager on Van Helsing (2004), and unit production manager on The Social Network (2010).1
Perritano became a key behind-the-scenes figure on the Marvel Cinematic Universe beginning with Iron Man 3 (2013), on which she served as unit production manager. She continued in that role across a sustained run of MCU productions:1
Her credit escalated to executive producer on Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and she served as line producer: Los Angeles on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), reflecting a sustained presence across major MCU titles.1
Alongside her MCU work, Perritano served as executive producer on A Quiet Place Part II (2021), directed by John Krasinski, and on Jason Reitman's biographical drama Saturday Night (2024).1 She is also attached as executive producer on The Breadwinner (2026).2
Perritano served as executive producer on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, directed by Gil Kenan and co-written by Kenan and Jason Reitman.3 The film, released by Sony Pictures on March 22, 2024, reunites the Spengler family with the original Ghostbusters at the iconic New York City firehouse as they face a supernatural threat capable of triggering a second Ice Age.3 Her fellow executive producers on the film included Dan Aykroyd, Gil Kenan, Amie Karp, Eric Reich, and Erica Mills; the film was produced by Ivan Reitman, Jason Reitman, and Jason Blumenfeld.4
