Erica Mills is an American film producer based in Los Angeles, known for her long-standing collaboration with director Jason Reitman and his production banner Ghost Corps. She served as co-producer on Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)1 and was promoted to executive producer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024),1 making her one of the key behind-the-scenes figures sustaining the Reitman-era Ghostbusters franchise.

Mills studied Communication and Media Studies at the University of Connecticut, graduating in 2009. She subsequently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film production.
Mills built her production career through a series of increasingly responsible crew positions on Jason Reitman projects and related studio films in the early 2010s.
Her earliest film credits are as a production coordinator on Celeste and Jesse Forever (2012) and as an extras casting assistant on Crooked Arrows (2012), Here Comes the Boom (2012), and R.I.P.D. (2013).1 She then moved into production assistant work on Reitman's Labor Day (2013), Damien Chazelle's Whiplash (2014), and Reitman's Men, Women & Children (2014),1 gaining broad exposure across a range of production environments.
By 2018 she had advanced to associate producer, receiving that credit on Reitman's Tully (2018), which starred Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis. That same year she was also credited as associate producer on The Front Runner (2018), directed by Jason Reitman and starring Hugh Jackman.1 In 2020 she produced all ten episodes of Home Movie: The Princess Bride,2 a pandemic-era quarantine adaptation of the William Goldman classic, produced for Quibi.
Mills joined Reitman's Right of Way Films as a producer3 and has since served as a core member of Ghost Corps, the production entity Reitman established to steward the Ghostbusters franchise under Sony Pictures.
Her highest-profile producing credit outside the Ghostbusters series is as executive producer on Saturday Night (2024), Reitman and Gil Kenan's biographical comedy-drama depicting the chaotic first night of NBC's Saturday Night Live in 1975. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and received strong critical notices.4 She also has a producing role on 71 Minutes to Sunrise, a real-time supernatural thriller written by Ian Shorr, which Sony acquired in a competitive bidding process in 2026 with Reitman attached to produce.5
Mills received a co-producer credit on Ghostbusters: Afterlife, directed by Jason Reitman and produced by Ivan Reitman and Joe Medjuck. Principal photography took place in and around Calgary, Alberta, from July to October 2019.6 The film was originally scheduled for release in July 2020 but was delayed four times due to the COVID-19 pandemic before finally opening on November 19, 2021.6 It earned $204.3 million worldwide against a $75 million budget.6
Mills was elevated to executive producer on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, directed by Gil Kenan, who co-wrote the script with Jason Reitman.7 Her fellow executive producers included Dan Aykroyd, Gil Kenan, JoAnn Perritano, Amie Karp, and Eric Reich.7 The film was released in the United States on March 22, 2024.7
