Plot
Peter Venkman's latest record turns out to be an album recorded by a banshee disguised as a rock singer, Shanna O'Callahan. A banshee's singing brings disaster wherever it is heard, so a record going out over the airwaves at a concert is a danger to everyone listening.
The Ghostbusters go to Shanna's agent, Vincent Braggs, to warn him before her big concert that night. He does not believe them. The team then heads to a rehearsal hall to find Shanna, where Peter falls under her spell. It falls to the rest of the team to reach her concert and stop the performance before Shanna goes on the air.
Trivia
Ray Stantz is shown wearing green boxer shorts with the No-Ghost logo on them.
For the final part of the episode the team is dressed in rock-star outfits, but some shots during the trapping sequence show them back in their regular uniforms, switching between the two looks.
When the Ecto-1 changes lanes, the car passes straight through a truck, an animation error.
The name Shanna O'Callahan may be a nod to the Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor.
