Ghostbusters #5 Variant Cover (2012)

Holder provided a variant cover for Ghostbusters #5, the fifth issue of the IDW ongoing series, released January 18, 2012. The cover was catalogued in Previews #278 under the title "New Years Bash Cover." Holder announced his involvement on his Blogspot on October 10, 2011, and shared multiple teasers: a sneak peek in October, a second teaser on November 15, and a black-and-white sketch of the finished cover variant on November 22, 2011.

Mars Attacks The Real Ghostbusters (2013)

Holder was the interior penciler for Mars Attacks The Real Ghostbusters, a one-shot crossover published by IDW on January 16, 2013. Written by Erik Burnham with colors by Jeremy Colwell and letters by Neil Uyetake, the issue crossed the aliens from the Topps Mars Attacks trading card universe with the characters of The Real Ghostbusters animated series. IDW announced Holder as the main interior artist on October 13, 2012, the same day Burnham was confirmed as writer. The script was completed around Labor Day 2012 and Holder was actively penciling the issue at the time of announcement. The story, which Burnham described in a Comic Book Resources interview and preview as involving the ghosts of Martian invaders crash-landed in New Jersey after intercepting the 1930s "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast, marked the first original Real Ghostbusters comic material published in the United States since the last NOW Comics installment in July 1993.
