Overview
The Infestation crossover event united several of IDW's licensed comic properties: Ghostbusters, Transformers, Star Trek, and G.I. Joe.2 Each franchise's title was drawn into a storyline in which the vampiric villain Britt opened portals across dimensions to spread a zombie plague.3 The Ghostbusters-specific issues were Ghostbusters: Infestation #1 and Ghostbusters: Infestation #2, written by Erik Burnham with art by Kyle Hotz.4
Classified Secrets of Infestation served as a teaser booklet for the full event. It was released for free ahead of the main Infestation titles and included a preview page drawn from material in Ghostbusters: Infestation #1.4 The creative team for the pamphlet, Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning with penciler Nick Roche, was separate from the Ghostbusters issue team, reflecting the crossover's multi-property scope.
