Ectomobile

Here is my Polor Lights Ecto 1 Model. As you can see it has been adapted to make it as screen accurate as possible. I added all the wires and pipes to the roof equipment including the pain staking task of the control panel on the drivers side which are all alligned correctly. I added the strobe to the front of the roof rack and the diagonal struts to the rear of the roof rack. I created my own labels for the roof equipment both by using reference shots on GBprops and also freeze framing the movie. I created my own licence plates and used styrene backing to make them realistic. Finally I added the black box which is below the radar dome. Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome considering my limited modelling expereince. It sits proud with my Ecto 1A.
