This is a Vigo replica, printed onto canvas through FilePrint.org (amazing company - used them for several projects including pack, thrower and trap labels). There are three or four main versions of the Vigo art work going around, i used the super high resolution file for mine as it's 'clean' and i knew i wasn't going to weather it (the other versions have the cuts/damage and slime river from GBTVG). I made a canvas stretcher frame from basic pine (to the exact size of the picture so that the outsides of the frame have a white border from the unprinted canvas), and stretched and stapled it at the back, folding the corners properly as i went. Once that was done i used Mod Podge Brushstroke (Gloss) which i brushed on in a way to look like it had been painted by hand. It goes on like PVA but once it dries it gives a very realistic 'oil-painted' look. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and as a sidenote it's been sat above a radiator ever since i made it a few years ago, and it still looks brand new. Seems like Mod Podge is strong stuff!
