Career

Bell began her career in studio development at Nickelodeon Movies, where she contributed to a run of family comedies including SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie (2004), Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), and Nacho Libre (2006). She subsequently moved to London, working as Director of Development at David Heyman's Heyday Films, the production company behind the Harry Potter film series.1

Bell returned to the United States and joined The Montecito Picture Company & Ghost Corps, the production banner of Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock. She eventually became President of Production and Development for the company.1 In that capacity she produced Ivan Reitman's NFL drama Draft Day (2014) and served as executive producer on Sacha Gervasi's Hitchcock (2012), the Paul Feig-directed reboot Ghostbusters (2016), and Seth Gordon's Baywatch (2017).1 She also produced the comedy Father Figures (2017) under the Montecito banner.3

In August 2017, Paramount Pictures named Bell Executive Vice President of Paramount Players, its division focused on younger-skewing content drawing from the Viacom brand portfolio, which included Nickelodeon, MTV, and BET properties. She reported to division president Brian Robbins.1 During her tenure she oversaw development on projects including What Men Want (2019), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), and the in-development Monster Problems.4 Bell and fellow EVP Matt Dines departed Paramount Players in February 2020.4

Following her exit from Paramount, Bell joined Andy Samberg's production company Party Over Here, which produces content for Netflix and other platforms.4 At Party Over Here she served as executive producer on all three seasons of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson (Netflix, 2019-2023), the acclaimed sketch comedy series starring former Saturday Night Live cast member and writer Tim Robinson.2 She also produced Jake Johnson's feature comedy Self Reliance (2023).5
