Hybrid pack, utilizing parts mostly from Frozen Empire and TVG, with a few other modifications of my own design
Garin's current proton pack is built upon the standard-issue Proton Pack chassis and incorporates the latest Zeddmore Industries performance upgrades introduced during the Battle of New York against Garraka in 2024. The pack also features several brass components inspired by the modified equipment used during that engagement.
In addition to its standard systems, this unit integrates modules from the experimental 1991 Proton Pack program, originally field-tested by the Ghostbusters' "Rookie." While most of these modules are now considered obsolete due to advances made by Zeddmore Industries R&D engineers, the three modules detailed below have been adapted for use in this modern pack.
Dark Matter Generator
Repurposed as an advanced cooling system that dissipates excess heat generated by the pack's high-output electronics.
Plasm Distribution System
A system adapted to dampen cyclotron vibrations, resulting in a significant increase in cyclotron cycles per second and nearly doubling rotational efficiency.
Composite Particle System
Focuses meson energy through ionized plasma channels, increasing the proton stream's voltage.
Operator Notes
These upgrades are considered optional, as not every Ghostbuster is certified to calibrate or maintain these specialized modules. Operators may experience a mild tingling sensation during pack power-up. The effect is harmless and typically subsides quickly.
