My Childhood PKE Meter! It's made from a sensor thingy which detects infra red. I plan to make some modifications to it soon, so that it actually does something! The rubber washer thingy attached to the bottom of the front was to hold a round magnet in place to activate a switch inside which made the little green LED blink :P Doesn't work now though... :(
