Notes: Drawn inexplicably to old libraries and archives, these malicious apparitions have been known to clothe their insubstantial forms with paper, books, tomes, parchments and even ancient scrolls in order to manifest in and interact with the mortal world. Paper Constructs seem to be lesser manifestations that are controlled by more powerful entities.

Contact and Strategy:
(PC/PS3/X360): A paper version of the "Slasher" enemy type. Slashers are roughly four feet tall, fast (to the point of using teleportation to get close), and fond of clawing you. Their jumping attack can be sidestepped easily. A Shock Blast or two at point bank should disperse them handily.. on higher difficulties, use the Stasis Beam to freeze them first, then shatter as you will. Dangerous in groups, as they're fond of surrounding you.
If you happen to be lucky enough to engage them at long range (the Twisted Stacks section of the New York Public Library comes to mind), Boson Darts work wonders. Beware their projectiles, though.
