Booster Plug

1 min read

This small rod fits inside of the Booster Tube, slightly protruding past the edge (although at least one GB1 hero pack has it flush with the top of the tube). The bottom of the plug is about 2" deep on the hero packs. imageimage For the semi-hero packs built for Ghostbusters II, the Booster Plug is very short with a shallow bottom. This is likely due to the prop-builders filling in the tube on the original buck in order to prevent undercuts during the casting process. image
