this is fantastic! it's made from a durable and flexible material that has just the right amount of grip to grab on to the tube when inserted. The the holes for threading are also perfectly spaced and make the job of sewing this to the suit as easy as possibly. 10/10

This item is high quality, bar none. It's sturdy feeling yet pliable, so it's gonna be able to take some dings no problem without getting chipped. The hose that GB Fans sells to pair with this is a bit small for the opening and feels loose when connected as-is but, as others have said, that's fixable with a bit of paper or tape wrapped around the end. Once you do that, barring straight up tripping over your hose or pulling it out by hand, it's going to stay plugged in just fine. As for putting this onto my suit, sewing the connector on was a bit of a challenge but that has nothing to do with the connector itself and everything to do with my lack of sewing experience/skill. A good sewing needle can easily go through the rubber, especially where the holes are pre-marked. My verdict overall? Another winning product from GB Fans!
First time purchase from the GBFans shop,and I'm very impressed! This connector is made from rubber that is both flexible and extremely durable. The holes are needle-tight, and make it a snap to stitch to your flight suit. A 1/2 inch ID hose fits nicely,though it could be a bit more snug. Still, no glue or magnets are needed, I just wrap the end of the hose in a tiny scrap of cloth (even paper towel would do) before it goes in the connector, and no need to worry about it slipping out. Can't recommend this item highly enough to anyone who wants a great looking, hard wearing connector for their uniform.
I am VERY Happy with this product. I comes as it is described. The color is fine. I did do some modifications though. I placed magnets in the base so I could attach it to my flight suit via a large washer. I had no problem fitting a 1/2'(od) hose in it. The hose connector is one of those details that my costume pop. Glad I bought it. No Regerts.
Perfect for any classic uniform leg hose. It's really solid and the markings for the holes helped a lot. I ended up sewing mine on.
Nice item. Thick but flexible material. I plan to attach Velcro to the back for easy removal to wash the flight suit.
I feel the price is a bit high, but that said, it is something that is well made and is durable. I was expecting a softer rubber material but it's a hard plastic. This is a good thing, as it should last forever, unlike the connectors that have been seen on auctioned screen used flight suits. So, despite the price, I think it is worth it and a must have for your uniform.
One note, the holes are not pre-drilled for you to sew it on. I decided to attach it with some 3M tape, a fender washer, and neodymium magnet so this was not an issue for me.

A very durable, high quality item with a much improved design to the ones previously offered. The removal of the stem has helped considerably - less preparation is required and the hose fits inside perfectly, enough to keep it secured without having to use any glue or even magnets. Highly accurate in appearance too. Recommended!
Fit the hose sold by GB fans nicely and is a very solid build. There are no holes to sew this to your uniform but there are indicators for anyone who choses to drill them in or simply add a velcro patch to it if you didn't feel confident to dill into your purchase.
