The only Proton Pack board you will ever need! This all-in-one system combines both sound and light control into a single board. It retains the authentic movie sounds, interactive quotes, and eight different video game effects including Proton Stream, Boson Darts, Slime Tether, Stasis Stream, Shock Blast, Overload Pulse, Meson Collider, and Blower. It also includes an Afterlife mode that simulates the Cyclotron ring pattern from Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The board now directly drives the lights, with separate add-on boards available for the Power Cell, Cyclotron Ring, Vent Ring, or a combined Cyclotron and Vent board. The modular design makes it easy to expand and upgrade, and it remains compatible with many existing light kits. Onboard ribbon cable connections are also included for expanding the kit to the Proton Wand light package.
Audio is powered by an onboard Class D 2x10W stereo amplifier with a wide 9–14v DC input range. The system supports true stereo playback or mono output when only one speaker is used. An externally mounted potentiometer is included for easy volume adjustment, and the new auxiliary input and output jacks allow connection to aftermarket speakers or playback of external audio sources. For even more flexibility, you can connect your own external MP3 player through the line-in feature and play music directly through the amplified speakers.
Power is now handled through a standard DC barrel jack, making it simple to plug in popular batteries such as the TalentCell Rechargeable Battery Pack. A single battery supplies both sound and lights, simplifying the wiring. A direct switch connection has also been added so the pack can be activated independently of the wand if desired.
Speakers, wiring, switches, battery clips, and cables are not included. The system requires one or two 8 ohm speakers rated at 10 watts or higher.
