Description
These are replicas of the Miranda Mirax Laborec microscope adapters that are used on the Ecto Goggles in Ghostbusters (1984). These lenses were painstaking replicated using a set of the original adapters and are faithfully replicated with a two part design. Each lens consists of two pieces that interlock and are held in place by the external screws like the original. The main body of the lens is anodized black with the left lens featuring silver anodizing and the right lens black anodizing. The main body of the lens includes a straight edge knurling for additional accuracy.
Lenses easily mount into the included mounting plate.

-Four machined thumbscrews
-Four 4mm bolts and lock nuts for the mounting plate
-Sixteen 3mm bolts for mounting the lenses to the mounting plate

Fantastic quality, closest you will get to the screen used ones at a excellent price, these are solid yet nice and lig but so you won’t need to worry about your goggles sliding down your head, quality price and screen accuracy 10/10
These things are awesome! The set I received are slightly different than the ones pictured as they only have 3 bolts per optic instead of 4. The mounting plates will come attached to each other, and you are going to want to pay attention to how they are attached. The way the holes are drilled, they will only really go back together the way they are when shipped. The rear plate is pretty simple to figure out if you get it confused. The front plate looks the same no matter how you look at it, so it can be a bit confusing. I have built a couple sets of goggles with real frames and pvc pipe optics, and they looked ok, but I have been wanting this set for a very long time, and I could not be happier. Even unpainted, I feel like I'm holding the real deal in my hands.
