Worked for exactly what I got it for. I purchased this for the Haslab Spengler pack and it worked perfectly, everything lined up. I had watched videos of people using surplus LC-1 frames and things not lining up I was skeptical but when I got the frame and everything went together like it should I was happy.
Description
These are the most accurate frame replicas you can get that closely match the LC-1 frames the military used 40+ years ago. They have been painstakingly replicated from the ground up using stronger materials than the common imported frames available elsewhere. There are many details present on these frames that are absent on the new import frames, such as having the correct bend in the top of the frame and correct height and spacing of the metal.
LC-1 Replica Strap & Pad Sets are also available and are sold separately.

Worked on my haslab proton pack with stock hardware. I experienced the same issue another reviewer mentioned of being misaligned. But if you put the spacers in first, lightly screw in the sides, then down the spine last, and tighten all when screws are started, you should be good. 4 stars because this is fundamentally similar to the rothco frame on my spirit pack. The placing of the screws and holes are identical, although I didn't take it off to compare the curve or build material of the frame itself. This would be a good frame if you're interested in the straps from gbfans (which are awesome) and need a new frame. If you have the rothco it's not much of an upgrade.
This would be a great LC-1 frame for a custom build but it’s not a good choice for the HasLab Spengler Proton Pack. It was recommended as a perfect fit for the HasLab pack by GB Fans but the cross bar is at least 1/8 inch too high and the cross bar brackets don’t line up. I’ve had to grind these areas of the bar down to even get the clips to fit because the bar is too wide as is. Now I’m continuing to grind rectangular grooves from the top of the bar in hopes that these brackets will eventually line up. I’m worried I’m hurting the structural integrity of the frame by doing so. I spent extra on this frame and the separate straps to not have the same issues that people with the LC-2 are having but I’m still dealing with them. Frustrated and disappointed.
