Proton Pack

Proton Pack #3-The Game Pack! So after seeing Griff(ddevil) and Angelus doing their GB game packs,I've decided to undertake it as well. I pulled out my trusty and dusty Prop Plans book,flipped to the Venkman71 Pack Plans and set out to work on the Gear Box,so here is my progress as of May 11, 2009. I have roughly 5 weeks to get this pack totally done,I have most of the resin detail parts to detail it with,but I will have to cut corners on the hoses and the brass fittings ala Norm's plans. Update: May 11,2009 11:57 I have finished initial construction on the Gearbox,though I am lacking the last pic of it done,all that is left is to bondo the main box and then add the fin details. The Crank Knob is resin,it is a Venkman71 knob that I got sometime back.The knob is only taped on for the pic. UPDATE: May 12,2009 2:25am I have finished the EDA,it is lacking the PPD but that will hopefully be added tomorrow after I bondo it and the Gearbox,this thing is really coming together in the few hours that I've worked on it,at this rate it will be done in no time. UPDATE: May 12,2009 12:42am I just finished the basic construction on the gun mount,that thing was a pain too!All that's left is to bondo it and add the fins.I also started the Power Cell but don't have any pics ATM. UPDATE: May 12.2009 7:48pm Was able to get the Powercell built and attached to the EDA,all that's left before bondoing is the Ion Arm,then I get to add all the fins afterwards,the Upper Module is close to being complete! UPDATE: May 12,2009 11:25pm Ok so I finished the Ion Arm,again it needs to be bondoed along with the rest of the upper module and then the fin details added,I'm all out of the rigid foamcore,so now I have to get some more to finish my pack up. UPDATE: May 15,2009 1:20am I got the main gun body and the Slime Tether box done,but the batteries in my camera died before I could get pics of the Slime Tether box. UPDATE: May 17,2009 11:41am So I finally got new batteries for my camera and took pics of the Gun side box,the Gearbox and Ion Arm both partially bondoed,and the beginnings of my Spacer. UPDATE: May 19,2009 6:20pm Got the Spacer,Cyclotron,and N Filer done and ready for bondo,and yes the N Filer is made from just foamboard. UPDATE: May 22,2009 2:23pm Built a Bumper last night while I couldn't sleep,made it to Stefan's plans.
