This is my FIRST "official" Fiberglass Pack Build 90% of my pack is from Nickatron Props. My personal opinion on the best out there. The rest of Ebay bought here and there. This is Nickatron's "Semi-Hero" shell made of fiberglass. The Bumper and everything else is Resin made. Some aluminium parts like the Ion Arm. Some real parts like the Elbows and Clippers which are although not screen accurate. The Thrower is completely resin with aluminum poles. its a GB2 style Ribbon Cable although i dont go full-on screen accurate. I like to get influence seeing other fan props and the IDW Comics for the over-all style of my pack and make it one of a kind on my own personal character and taste. Its been about 6 months since i first put the 1st hole into the fiberglass. I did most of the hardest work within just a month but still have been slowly kept building more and more since October 2013. You'll notice some features or pieces missing, but time will cure all. I dont remember what paint i used for it other than being normal flat black with added primer. I added the "weathering" with just a silver sharpie marker a night before a con thinking it came out pretty cool, so i left it as is. I also added just a touch of brown paint to the grips to give it that aged prop look, although it looks much brighter in these photos. It has a Jupiter Electronics lighting system running off just a single 9V with about 5 hours of battery life as ive clocked it. I choose Jupiter because i just wanted the simplest i could get. But may replace it with another kit another time, and hopefully one day a sound kit. Its been on an LC-1 frame with a Wood Motherboard... although i just ordered an aluminum one from Nickatron to fit which shall be my next step in the coming month.
