Hey there! This is my latest proton pack, "Aly". Seeing as how I just finished her, I thought I'd go ahead and submit my first prop to the site by doing a recap of the build! My inspiration for this build was Matt Burkit's Ray Stantz build (mmmm... 'dem ribs.), as well as this shell, itself. When I first saw it at a barbecue, I committed to buy immediately. I was in love. I'll be honest though, one of the main reasons I decided to do this, was because one of my best friends moved away a few months ago, and I needed to get my mind off it. I was going for my own idealized version of the hero packs in general, from GB1. There is a bit of influence from the second film's semi heroes, like the foam neck padding, but in general, I tried to stay pretty true to the first film. She was constructed with a shell made by two of my local buddies, 7heads10horns, and Larzl995. For their build thread, visit http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34982 Aluminum parts: MMM thrower body: ThrowingChicken (From that Chace Ambrose look-a-like contest I won quite a while ago!) Other highlights of the build: a genuine LC-1 frame and straps polyurethane shell aluminum peripherals genuine Clippard hosing (Thanks, Spook!) GBFans bellow Momerath ion arm real greeblies (WOAH! Kolten is stalling, isn't he?!) custom-printed decals by split80 OTHER STUFF, PROBABLY! If you're still reading up to this point, you deserve some kind of an award. I would've stopped reading a long while ago. PICTURE TIME!
