October 7, 2008 After a two less than pleasing experiences with Rothco and Tru-Spec flight suits, both involving the zippers, I decided to give Tru-Spec one more chance since I was pleased with their quality in general. First photos are of the brand new Tru-Spec, with the flash on. Second is after dying with 2 boxes of RIT pearl gray dye(no color remover used). Even without the color remover, the pile side of the velcro still turned purple, even though I didn\'t use and purple dye at any point in the dying process. All in all I\'m pleased with the results however, I do have another New Tru-Spec suit that I will not be dying as I believe the film suits only looked gray due to the lighting and type of film used in shooting.
