Proton Pack

I originally found this great site in September 2006 when i decided to go to a fancy dress party as a Ghostbuster. Using Stefans plans I began creating the parts using my workshop at school where I teach Technology. The original pack is created using mainly MDF and plastic. It is completely scratch built with no borrowed or bought parts and that even includes my own made Alice frame and padding straps. The tubing and bits and pieces were bought mainly on eBay and other sites and the cost of bits for four packs probably cost no more than £200 which includes my own made PCB circuit boards slightly modified from the plans on this site. Early 2007 I decided to make a fan film at the school where I teach and now have another 3 packs almost completed. They are also completely scratch built like the first one. They have taken so much of my time that I can't even guess at how many hours i have spent on them but it gives me something to look forward to when i've got to go to work. I will add some final pictures when they are all working and maybe some shots of the film i'm making, which i'll begin filming when i've finished a trap, PKE meter, Goggles and four uniforms.
