built this out of plastic slip cover for deck post. essentially built this out of stuff that was about to get thrown out. its my first prop, i'm in the process of making 3 more traps. this one has one blinking red LED light achieved by jamming a TIREFLY into the battery compartment. a tirefly is a blinking valve stem cover for bike tires or car tires. it blinks whenever the trap gets moved. the pedal i made from scrap deck as well. with electrical components glued on. crude but effective spring design lets you step on the pedal. coaxial cable connects the trap to the pedal.
