Ghost Trap

I already had a cool looking trap, but it was made of wood and way too heavy to stay on my belt. I needed something that would look cool but stand up to the abuse of the Halloween bar hopping shuffle. Started on this trap a week before Halloween. Based off the SG1STAR's (now a.k.a. umoribawar) plans, I built this trap in one week using foam board (aka foam core), a ruler, and an X-Acto. It barely weighs a pound. The plates are made from 'no tresspassing' signs. The knobs and v-hook (not pictured) are from previous ghost traps. The trap handle is a copper pipe. Stickers from Venkman71's plans and printed at Kinko's. update 6/14/2008: Changed/added some knobs; added Irricanian's resin parts (red bars, vector plate, resistor); added switch and light to battery box update 5/22/2009: I had added some screws to the trap to add to the authenticity. Trap has been dropped a few times and repaired. Last 4 pictures courtesy of Some_Guy, new owner of the trap
