Proton Pack

Here is my first Proton Pack! Due to time (Comic Con here I come!) and money constraints I won't be able to make it as detailed as I'd prefer (but there is always next time!). The shell comes from Jeff over at Studio Creations. The rest is various odds and ends made from PVC and wood. The bumper is actually a matchbox racing track which I will later beef up with some foam core. The Weathering was done with a silver sharpie and a rust colored hard pastel. I even used baby power on a big brush to get that used look. The sharpie also really helped me cheat the depth in places where the vacuformed pull wasn't so sharp. This isn't a 100% accurate pack by any stretch of the imagination, but I've found that the more beat up I made it look, the better. And honestly people were very complimentary despite having used things like a matchbox track and other things that weren't screen accurate. I even got some compliments from several members of GBfans at Comic Con. I'm very happy with how this first pack turned out. Can't wait to build the next one!
