My Belt Gizmo, completed with the excellent references and research done by the members of this forum. The Sanyo board is scratch built from styrene and decorated with an assorment of real resistors as well as real nixie tubes. After looking at the real boards found & photographed by members of the community and knowing the random nature of the chip placement on those early calculators, I decided to go for a hybrid of the Sanyo ICC 808D and Minolta Minolcom circuit arrangements. The black holster was also made from scratch out of raw hide- hand dyed and cut using a pattern found here on this site. The small, green circuit board connected to the Sanyo board is detachable thanks to a properly gauged bit of wire bent into a prong at the base of the Sanyo board that fits snugly into the curled power cable of an old electric shaver.
