Attaching neutrona wand to pack?

Dumb dumb question I'm sure, but I'm in the process of building my first proton pack. Nothing too insane, that will come later when I have more time and resources, this ones just for Halloween. Anyways, what is the best way to "attach" the wand to the pack? Like holstered. I'm still in the process of making everything, but the wand will probably be made of some pvc pipe. Any suggestions welcome :-)

The movie packs used a custom set of interlocking metal pieces which have become known as the "v-hook" in the community:

A common, cheaper alternative used in the commuity is a bracket found on dixie cup dispensors:

Though these are getting harder to find.

Some on the site have recommended flush mount brackets. Here is a link to show you what they look like. I got mine tonight at Ace Hardware for about 3 dollars.

Don't do this. Use a v-hook or the dixie brackets

Thanks guys! The dixie dispenser seems like a pretty quick solution :-)

It is your call. It is your time, money and preference. I personally have the flush mount brackets. They work great. Never had my wand fall off. Heck, I holster my wand without needing help. Dixie cup holders, it seems you always need help getting the wand back on. Also, since I have a gb2 set up, with the wand angled out more, it seems to lock into place. I have done events where I had jumped up and down, even had to bend over to pick something up and never has my wand come off the hook. I did make sure I had a piece of aluminum between my gun block and the bracket, so it would be semi-accurate.

If you want to see pictures on how I have mine set up, just pm me.

I know this is an old thread... But I found it trying to figure out what to mount my wand with. The dixie cup brackets seem to be completely unavailbale now. But I think I found a good alternative - interlocking sofa connectors. If you get one at the right size, it should work. It's very similar to the dixie cup option. Here's an amazon link to what I found:
