The Ghostbusters community is coming together in a big way this holiday season with the YHS Holiday Stream-A-Thon, a massive charity livestream happening Tuesday, December 16, 2025, beginning at 8:00 PM EST / 5:00 PM PST. Broadcasting live on the YHS Podcast YouTube channel and the official Ghostbusters YouTube channel, the all-night event will run until 2:00 AM EST, raising funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which supports hospitalized children and their families. GBFans.com is proud to assist in spreading the word for what is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Ghostbusters charity events ever assembled.

The livestream will feature an incredible lineup of special guests, including McKenna Grace (Phoebe Spengler) and Celeste O’Connor (Lucky Domingo) joining live, with surprise appearances scheduled throughout the night from Ghostbusters royalty. Fans can also expect appearances from Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Frozen Empire directors and writers Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan, legendary Ghostbusters theme songwriter Ray Parker Jr., and an in-depth conversation with Patrick Dennis from the Hasbro Ghostbusters team, breaking down the history and future of the Ghostbusters toy line. Additional guests include the creative team from Mondo, discussing their acclaimed Real Ghostbusters figures, Ghostbusters comic artist John Yurcaba IV, author Troy Benjamin, and a stacked roster of hosts and commentators from across the fandom, including Ghostbusters News, Toy Anxiety, Geek Dad Life, and the YHS Podcast team.

The YHS Holiday Stream-A-Thon will also feature an impressive lineup of donor rewards and giveaways throughout the night. These include HasLab Ecto-1 vehicles, exclusive supporter-level challenge coins, and extremely rare Frozen Empire teaser posters. There will be an official website setup to handle the donations directly to Starlight. They must be made through that site to count to the total and everything however.

Can someone elaborate on what we mean when we say "screen accurate patches", especially where being reported as "for the first time ever on any Ghostbusters action figures"?

They mean to tell me that all of my GB action figures from the last 15+ years spanning Mattel, DST, and now Hasbro -- and spanning multiple lines from plastic 6-7" to retro cloth etc -- have had inaccurate patches?

What's inaccurate about them, was there some minor variation on the OG suit that changed thereafter or something?

I mean - I'm zooming in on their crappy photo and looking up every picture I can find and looking at my figures and they all seem similar enough that nobody could complain about any differences...

The original screen-used patches were hand-made and weren't perfect. Some say a bit wonky. They're adding in that "wonky" detail to the figures.

Just checking to see if this is legit. I donated during the Stream-A-Thon and received an email that I am slated to get a coin of some sort. I also got an email saying to confirm my home address to a PayPal site and to pay for shipping of said coin.

Is this legit? Just want to make sure I didn't receive a scam email.
