It with sadness that we announce the death of veteran actor Harris Yulin, who passed away on Tuesday from cardiac arrest.

Best known to Ghostbusters fans for playing firebrand judge Stephen Wexler, Yulin was also known for Neal Frazier on WIOU, Buddy Dieker on Ozark, Aamin Marritza on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, George Grierson (alongside Ghostbusters II's Peter MacNicol) in Bean, Murder at 1600, Cutthroat Island, Multiplicity, Clear and Present Danger and Scarface.

A star of stage and screen (both big and small), Yulin forged a career as a character actor, often playing figures of authority... And always left a memorable performance in the role he played.

for some reason i thought he allready passed away, but i think i was confusing him with the actor who played the Mayor from the original film.

I of course knew Harris from Ghostbusters 2, but i was shocked when i saw him as the corrupt cop in Scarface which i saw in my mid 20s, well after it originally came out. That role, while small as well, really stood out to me for what ever reason.

Even thought I remember him from ghostbusters II I tend to think of him more from his appearances as the head of the watcher's council on Buffy.
