I appreciate the latest delay is disappointing, and the unpredictability has a big impact on people who have to be more careful with their disposable income in order to afford these figures (I'm in that boat as well), but this is likely a decision Mondo didn't take lightly, and has almost certainly come about by issues that are 100% beyond their control.

I would urge against acting rashly and cancelling your order, as you may come to regret that decision down the line once the figures do finally ship.

I also appreciate that while it can be frustrating to see reviewers on YouTube getting items early, and in some cases for free... I would like to remind everyone that in the majority of these cases these users didn't appeal to the companies to have these items sent to them, Mondo, Hasbro et al. made the decision to send their products to the reviewers for early review.

I feel it also worth noting that while some YouTube reviewers may not've given money to those companies, they have given them their time and facilities in the time and effort taken to record the review and edit the review videos, and then upload them to social media.

So, maybe keep the green-eyed rage in check.

Pre-orders and new collectibles from every vendor are a mess, I understand that. And really, these things are always delayed even in the best of times, it's normal.

But the timing and logistics of this particular delay really just make it look like Mondo is playing tariff roulette. And if that's true... I don't believe for a second these will ship in August.

I hope for the best but I won't be pre-ordering more figures before Venkman arrives.

Wouldn't that court the risk of you potentially missing out on the Winston two-figure pack, if those are the ones you're collecting? Mondo's been around since 2004, I believe they're worth giving the benefit of the doubt despite the recent uncertainty.

Aren't the pre-order windows 2 months? If Winston/Sandman go up later this month (rumored?) it should work out just fine. Unless they don't ship Venkman in August.

I'd also be very impressed if Mondo delayed pre-orders if the line is falling behind.

I was on the fence too long and did not get the two pack and then was on the fence for the individual. Finally decided to just do it (for both Peter and Egon) but they were unavailable on Mondo. So I preordered them on BBTS, and that's why I did not receive an email regarding the delay. Most forums seem to only point out the two pack being delayed so I started asking around about the individual release lol. I figured both were affected but until now, I had not heard it was included in the delay.

Pre ordered the winston Two Pack....

19 DOLLAR SURCHARGE at checkout for tarrifs. NOT happy about that, not so much because its necessary....19 dollars isnt as bad as i thought it would be...but BECAUSE THEY DONT ADD IT TO THE LISTED PRICE...

The two pack figure is listed at 202 dollars. 202 +19= 221 dollars. Simple math. Just show the 221 dollars as the base price then you add tax...so it ran me $240.34 with tax for the two pack. 10 dollars cheeper then i was thinking it would be in total.

I just dont get why they spring the tarrif charge on you like that. Are they trying to make a political statement? cause thats how it comes off. Just make the price 221 as listed. Its easer to budget for impulse buyers and i dont feel as mislead at checkout!

We've known about the tariff increase for a while now... It wasn't sprung on us, and it certainly wasn't by Mondo.

Donald Trump made the decision to impose tariffs on every other country in the world over imported products, reportedly as an effort to bring costs down on products by trying to encourage manufacturing to go to/return to the United States as part of his "America First" agenda. Mondo (like many other companies) had no choice but to raise the price of the figures for American customers to cover the cost of the tax created by the tariffs, they're piggie in the middle between the Trump administration and their overseas manufacturers (likely China).

The price increase isn't Mondo making some kind of political statement, it's economic sabre-rattling by Donald Trump and his administration.

Mondo's Senior Creative Director of Collectibles did say that all domestic orders would receive free shipping. Maybe they've had to cut that offer because of the tariff business?

Yeah, you're right. I had clicked domestic shipping and when I saw the total, I just assumed the extra $9 was the shipping but it was sales tax. I had confused that with paying for shipping. The tariff threw it off for me too.

Agreed. I hope that with Ray's release (and Janine's if the line is successful enough) Mondo will also include more neat little accessories like the copy of Tobin's and Winston's half of the Collector's key.

Just to be clear i totally agree with you there on the trump tariff thing. Please dont mistake me as supporting that.

My whining is about just include it in the price upfront because simple jack minded me thought wow ok maybe there wont be a tariff charge afterall because they are still listing it as the normal price but thats on me!

I so cant wait to get these figures though. I now have all 3 pre ordered and of course im going to get Ray and Janine when available...and they got to put out a firehouse or Ecto 1 or Mr Stay Puff. Please do Mono..please!
