Two more cameo appearances to add to the filmography:
1973's The Blue Knight (which later spawned a two-season TV series starring George Kennedy in 1975).

The Winston Street entrance of Fire Station №23 appears at the 14:53, 16:34, 16:51, 23:56, 45:23, 45:34, 2:59:04 and 3:06:00 marks, dressed up as "The Pink Dragon", a dive bar. This entry resolves the question of what the faint graffiti art design that can still be seen on the back of Fire Station №23 looked like originally. While the exterior is featured prominently, the interior does not make any appearance.

I'll also look into the TV series adaptation, as it also filmed on the streets of Los Angeles, and might've caught some glimpses of Fire Station №23.

And 1984's T. J. Hooker episode, "A Kind of Rage":

A minor update for June 2025, urban explorer brandonexploredthis posted a snapshot of Fire Station №23 last Tuesday, and while little has changed on the exterior of the Firehouse, one thing that can be seen is that all of the window frames and glass have been removed from the front (and presumably, the sides and rear) of the Firehouse:

Additional commentary on Brandon's post indicate that the work on rehabilitating the interior is continuing to progress slowly.

Also, a gallery of previously-unseen photos from 2021, which would put it within months of when Jason and Ernie visited to film the Firehouse end credit scene for Ghostbusters: Afterlife: LINK

Just received word that noted vlogger and urban explorer David Adam Williams, better known under his handle "Adam the woo" had unexpectedly passed away around the 22nd of December.

Adam's vlogs were invaluable to the project to document Fire Station №23, as his videos from 2014 and 2022 helped provide a record of the station's "shuttered" period, as well as the start of its rehabilitation.

I wished to pay tribute to David, and felt it appropriate to showcase the videos from his pilgrimages here:

He also visited Hook & Ladder №8 in 2023:

Special thanks to Chris Buchner for spotting a "new" cameo from 2013... This time of the Winston Street facade, in the video for Pharrell Williams's "Happy", at the 2:15 mark:

Visible at the 2:15 mark.

While the video makes it look like it's looking north-west along Winston Street, it's actually looking south-east, as the shot has been mirrored.
