After doing the proton pack (which I'm going to update with things I learned doing the trap):

viewtopic.php?t=50645

I decided to take on the Haslab trap. The Haslab is such a great replica and features awesome attention to detail that benefits so much from an accuratizing and weathering pass.

MODS:

-Aluminum side rods
-Scrolling direction fix using patch cable
-Linrose light
-Accurate switch
-Metal resistor
-30 element bargraph (I tried 3 different ones the best was GBFans version)
-Bargraph divider inset (so each led doesn't bleed over)
-Metal plates top and bottom of battery box
-New decals
-Door inserts
-Pedal metal bottom plate (adds a lot of weight)
-Pedal GB1 light
-Pedal GB1 style ribbon cable and connectors
-Pedal GB1 decals

Todo:
-Ecto Labs new motherboard
-Fogger
-Lasers
-Redo connector covers
-Metal vector plate and side plates
-Metal pedal vector plate
-Metal grill

Fun fact: ISS and Hand Prop Room used the weathering on the GB1 trap on display to create the Afterlife trap weathering. You can tell from the red rods.

Fun fact #2: The Haslab trap appears to be the same mold as the traps Ben Eadie sent to the cast after Afterlife wrapped shooting (long before the Haslab was announced)

Love the pedal base (and everything else), any interest in moving the relay to the back? That’s the one thing I did to mine when I got it :vinzclortho:

Thanks! I appreciate it.

I prefer mixing and matching stuff from the different movies to sort of my own ideal. For example, I love the Afterlife pack but like the 1984 wand more. So I have an Afterlife pack with a 1984 wand.

For the trap and pedal I prefer the GB1 pedal with the small red led and the black Dsub connector on the right as opposed to the grey, and the inch class decal position from GB1, yet I love the Afterlife metal pedal base with the horseshoe type metal thing in the front (the front bottom of the pedal always looked a bit "unfinished" to me in GB1 and GB2, so I see why the Afterlife concept artist did that.) But then I'm not a big fan of the big rubber bottom pads they added in Afterlife so I didn't use those.

Just a bit of a mix and match really.

PS: if anyone has any questions related to mods or weathering I'd love to help.
