I also received my e-mail from Hasbro Pulse saying my "package has left the building". (copy/pasta)

Your Hasbro Pulse order has left the building!
Hi Robert, Your order is on the way! You can track your shipment by clicking the “View Your Order” below.
If the info isn’t there yet, don’t fret! The package is still moving, it just sometimes takes a day or so for the tracking info to be available through the carrier.

That also means that the tracking info on FedEx as not updated yet. Anyone else who receives this e-mail today or over the weekend, be wary and give it a few days to update. The package should arrive in 5 to 10 business days. (before X-mas!)

Still nothing here in the UK yet. I read that Hasbro plan on using Yodel to deliver the parcels, but they have a shortage of drivers and as such deliveries will be delayed.

No idea if this is true, as I read this from a reddit post, but, Yodel have gone public with their delivery issues.

Hasbro and Matty:

The taser mode may not be real, but the HasLab PKE looks like it would make a fine club in a pinch XD

Got my shipping confirmation from Hasbro Pulse about an hour, hour and a half ago. No tracking number yet. Located Midwest, USA.

Update/Edit: I was able to find my tracking number by going to the OLD order status page (when you look at your order status it's the blue bubble that says "For orders placed before July 12, 2024, go here to make changes and track shipments"). Clicked on there and went to my 2ITB order and found the tracking number. My box currently has not left, still sitting at "Label Created". Really hoping it starts moving soon so I don't have to worry about delivery arrangements while I'm traveling.

Give the FedEx tracking a few days to update. The tracking number on old.hasbropulse.com is correct and matches the tracking number on the FedEx site, though it will still say "Label Created". That's how it is since they have a lot of packages that have "left the building".

My buddy is in the same pickle, so I suggested to him to have a vacation hold placed on his package via the FedEx site. He's traveling from Dec. 20th through Dec. 23rd. And we're located in south Florida. I'm speculating by what Hasbro told me via an e-mail saying that shipping can take 5 to 10 business days, so going by that, our packages SHOULD arrive no later than December 24th.

As long as someone is at your residence to sign for the package between Dec. 20th and Dec. 24th, it should be okay - or just have the vacation hold placed via the FedEx website. That way they can deliver it to you on the best day to you, after the tracking number is updated. Just a suggestion, of course!! Best of luck. :)

NOTHING YET here in New York.

I spent all night re aranging a new bookshelf full of ghostbusters collectables trying to figure out the best way to display the trap!

id really like it if i got it by christmas. But nope just a tracking label printed up on December 3rd, 10 DAYS AGO.

Between waiting for the trap, my 2 custom Magnoli Flight Suit Jackets, the Modo 2 pack of venkman and sanhain, the funko pop figures from Amazon which now say February instead of January, and the basic and deluxe haslab Ecto 1's, i got all this money spent on ghostbusters stuff, many of it dream stuff...and no surefire way of knowing when they will arive.

I get its foolish to feel impatent about the Ecto's...those wont be here for a damn year...and i think im more hyped for them then anything...BUT knowing im due my trap anytime now is worse because its so damn close yet so damn far away....

It better ship by this time next week!

One time wrote: December 13th, 2024, 9:12 am So here we go, a comparison in trapping animations between the Matty and the Hasbro. You can't see it well but both pedals are pressed twice at exactly the same time. All the ghost noises are coming from the Hasbro.

They are different obviously, but on the whole I much prefer the Hasbro trap. It is solid and feels much less like a toy than the Matty trap. The Matty trap has a more elaborate and slower trapping sequence, the Hasbro is more like the actual prop used. But on the whole the Hasbro is 3x better than the Matty trap. It's also slightly bigger (slighly thinner but longer).

It is so much better and more accurate than the Matty it's ridiculous. The Matty is still valuable to me though because it was the first mass produced trap and is still a bit mysterious. Also, with the Matty being so light they actually got it to do that weird shaking thing. The Hasbro is so heavy it would not have been feasible.

I guess the Matty feels like Mattel's attempt at making a ghost trap. It's plasticky, not super accurate, etc. but has tremendous play value and weird functionality. I still love the Matty because of what it is and how rare it was. It was the holy grail for mass produced traps for over a decade. The Hasbro on the other hand doesn't feel like an attempt at making a ghost trap, they made an actual prop accurate ghost trap. It's so much better. The amount of sound effects in it are vast.

If I had to guess which movie the Hasbro trap is accurate to, it's like a mix of all movies. The right side black (volume) dial and the bargraph small yellow LED size is from GB1 hero. The ribbed metal plate size (height) behind the gold CAL-R MC250 Resistor is from GB2, as is the size and location of the white sticker underneath the relay. The relay is very accurate to the GB2 trap but the relay is positioned with the "Italy" text towards the pedal. It should be on the same side as the white sticker. It's not possible to change it without sanding away a small plastic tab but is easy enough to fix.

The 5 yellow stripes indicates it is accurate to Afterlife, as is the heavy weathering. The pedal section left of the relay is more accurate to GB1, thankfully (for me) it's not like the double height pedal from Afterlife or that triple decker bus monstrosity pedal from Frozen Empire. The relay section is more accurate to Afterlife and the relay itself can be swapped to the front of the relay box to make it exactly like in AF.

I think one of the first things I'll do is hit the aluminium metal egg shaped plate on the relay with some black RnB to make it look like GB1. I'll also mix RnB with naphta and get it to pool in the yellow and red cables to look like oil and dirt. Also the weathering on the trap (while AWESOME) is a bit too regular in terms of color. It's all silver chips. Darkening some highlight areas with black RnB+naphta should add some depth. As Savage said it's also missing some browns here and there, whether paint or cinnamon it could use some pooling grime. But on the whole it is amazing. You really feel the evolution from the Haslab pack to this. The pack weathering was chunky and very crude. This is on another level. The Matty props you never saw any evolution in materials or paint apps, with the Hasbro the trap feels like it's a generational leap in terms of weathering from the pack and both wands.

The trap is like a combination of the best parts from the different movies. It is so awesome. Personally I took off the Vhook underneath (just 2 screws), this way it feels more like we see in the movies. The Vhook feels a little weird becuase it is so large under the trap.

But yeah, like I said before I love the Hasbro. I'd trade 3 Matty traps for one of these it is that good. It's amazing.

PS: When you get your Hasbro be careful about something. On one of mine, when I unboxed the pedal to trap cable I found a tiny screw in the bag. It was a tiny screw from the metal connector. I needed a very small screw driver to screw it back in. Just watch out that the ones on yours aren't loose.

Thank you for the precious info, you will be able to find every features and easter eggs i'm sure, hoping that there is something hidden to discover. that said, you said that the matty has a more slower and elaborate trapping sequence, but if i'm not mistaken the haslab has at least 2 different trapping sequence. someone who has the matty trap should do some comparison about this...actually, a in-depth comparison between the two would be better!

i'm going today to pickup my package and i'll open tomorrow!

As far as I can tell both modes are very similar. As far as I can tell but it's not immediately obvious. The button undre the handle and the pedal function differently a bit.

It's great that you are picking yours up tonight, maybe you can solve it :)

I'd be opening it tonight lol

I might have to wait a few more days to open mine. Glad everyones having their fun though. Nothing difinitive yet but I might be getting the opportunity to test out the EMF function in Edinburgh cemetery next summer.

Hopefully they don't have Ghost Tour groups that run wires underground and smoke machines before their shows like in Gettysburg. Edinburgh is haunted enough to not need that shit.

It's going to be a fun trip regardless though. Of course, i'll have a real EMF detector to be able to see if the Meter does actualy work.

i think that there are a lot of test to do to discover everything, it will require time and i hope someone will discover any features and easter eggs since i'm not a good easter egg hunter ahaha

i really want to open it today, but i can't since i'm out with my family for a birthday party and i'll come home late

Is there canonic reasoning that Egon would not have designed and the trap during his tenure at the University in 1982?
I could see maybe him starting the research that early on, but 2 years seems like a stretch. Especially to be in the final configuration we all know.

As for my packages, my labels were created Dec 3rd, got the email from Hasbro on the 13th, and later that day FedEx updated to say they got my packages. Originally estimated to be delivered Monday the 16th, pushed back this morning to Tuesday the 17th. Which actually works out better for me because I'm off and can be sure I'm home to sign.
Shipping to Hawaii, US, BTW.

Also, the when my labels were changed to "in transit", they disappeared from my apps tracking block. I had to hit "View All" to see them again. They didn't just get moved to the "In Transit" section. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Doesn't really make sense. Well maybe a small bit. They are talking about ionisation rates etc. in the library in GB1 and he's obviously working out some math on his calculator. So the science didn't just come to him out of nowhere in 1983. Maybe he was still getting actual constants and data collection in the field in 1983.

But for the trap to look exactly like the final version from 1983 is admittedly a bit of a stretch. But still, a dim possibility.

Would have been far easier had Hasbro written 1983 or better yet 1984 on that sheet though XD.

Heh, had they asked us we would have told them :)

Thank you! Definitely appreciate your words. Turns out I shouldn't have to worry, I just got a delivery date of tomorrow. Apparently according to the tracking my package teleported from the Chino facility to Chicago :D

I'm not overly concerned about it, but my order details page on the Haslab site has looked like this for the past week. Are any other UK customers experiencing this, too?

Additionally, if I click on 'Contact Support', it takes me to help dot salesforce dot com.
