That would have been a nice feature to have over looked if that's the case. It would have been kind of fun to experiment and create different animations based on Ghost Class. class 1-5 the vibration of the meter intensifies, God or Deity class it shuts down. That kind of stuff.

The interactive PKE/Trap functionality seems to have random sounds; even Hasbro didn't reveal what it was. Apparently "spooky mode" has random sounds from a lot of sound files-including RGB Slimer- and even though it'll be kinda fun...I'd have to go to "prop mode" and mute them. At least overnight.

Australian release (via EB Games) has been pushed back yet again:


Doesn't mean much for those of you lucky enough to have ordered directly from Hasbro (they're not available in Australia). They said they'll charge our payment methods 1-4 days before the release date. I ordered two sets back in 2023, paid an AU$200 deposit on each. So I'm waiting for them to charge me the remaining AU$1020 (including shipping).

For the record, we had to pay around US$450 each for our Two in the Box sets (AU$699 each).

So, for the U.S. I guess the rumors are true. Hasbro will wait until the last day to ship them out to us.
On the bright side, they'll (hopefully) arrive before X-Mas.

I did get an update on my Ghostbusters 3 and 3/4 inch figures (4 pack) "O-ring" figures "left the building" this morning.
Their original shipping date was listed as "February 2025", but some online retailers have already been receiving them.

First impressions:
The sheer amount of stuff is amazing
PKE is alot heavier than the Matty
Trap is super heavy and totally looks the part
EMF mode is super fun, taser a nice gimmick
What I feared most became true. The actual trapping sequence is way inferior to the Matty trap. Sorry Haslab Team, you should have focussed on this more instead of easter eggs and specter modes

Gotta say, it looks amazing. Getting out of Taser mode was a bit of a hassle until I understood you don't have to straighten the wings, but the two small gizmos they are attached to. If you push those back into the PKE, it will reset one wing at the time.

Secretly hoping for something near the 25th is nice. I've enjoyed the time we've all spent discussing the "Two In The Box!" Haslab. However, the semi-deal breaker is the trap lights and sounds. I love my little Running Press trap (still change batteries), even more so when I attach Matty's 12" scale pedal and hose (not to scale, but helps sell the look.)
But there is no way I can accept that this new trap we're getting-with all the bells and whistles-will use these exact same sounds. Am thankful that I have a Matty trap, just spoiled for years with the functionality. This new one just does a ton of things differently.

Looking forward to completing my parka. Unfortunately, the NY jackets Halloween Sale forgot to include the belt loop and I got their pre-movie release version with the black pockets and printed tag, and no ghost logo. (Not what they were advertising BTW)

I'm replacing the printed patch as soon as I get mine. It was so close to Halloween I didn't have time to send it back. I can't wait to attach all the gear to the jacket. Need to figure out the belt though. Can't wait for the holsters!

You could thread one of these into the bottom of the trap pedal so it can be clipped to one of the belt fobs - that way it doesn’t clack against your expensive cosplay collectible while you’re walking around.
