I backed this haslab yesterday afternoon and then I saw the total charges were coming out to $465 and some change. Normally I wouldn’t be so hopped up on the price, but I have bills to pay in short succession this month. Coupled with the rising cost of food, money is in short supply for me so I had to begrudgingly cancel my order. I’m excited for everyone who backed this haslab and will be getting an Ecto. I’m hopeful that the next project will be a prop.

Was just made aware you can set up PayPal Credit on your PayPal account and use that to pay this off. This eases a massive burden for this month and it's definitely going to help pay it off if I'm only throwing $100 each month for the next four months.

Thanks for the tip. I may have to do that. I ordered 2 and spreading it across a few months would be great.

It's been a rollercoaster 43 days since Hasbro first revealed their HasLab Plasma Series Ecto-1/Ecto-1A replica, which at one point was facing the possibility of failing to achieve enough support to go into production.
But as fate would have it, the campaign received a boost of pledges this past week, and earlier tonight it crossed the 12,000 backer threshold needed to fund the production of the Ectomobile and figures.
As of this writing, the backer tally presently stands at 12,178.
For fans who are still considering whether to back the project, you still have some time to decide, as the campaign doesn't officially end until 5:59 AM CET/4:59 AM GMT on the 3rd of December.

Backed both the basic and the deluxe version. Just deposited the money into my account, will be relieved the moment they take it out and then begins the longest year of my life for them to finally arrive.
Im beyond excited for this. i would have loved the blitzway cars (both 84 and Afterlife) and as far as i know no one makes a Ecto-1A in that scale, but your talking easly 3-5 thousand dollars now for both and i aint rolling like that, nor do i have the space, or the additional funds for the figures.
this will suffice just nicely plus i get the Gb2 figures and a Ecto-1A which blitzway does not offer at the moment!

Have they started shipping the Ecto-1s yet?

Either way, I'm glad that it funded and that it funded with room to spare.

It all depends on whether this just naturally winds down or if there is a mad dash at the end. I also wonder if they input the last of the 3rd party international backers from this week at the very end.Dragonfire82877 wrote: ↑December 1st, 2024, 7:45 pm It’s over 13,000 with just over 24 hours left. I went from being a day 1 backer to a last day backer. Did a new order using the PayPal credit card to spread the cost out a but.
Also, never under estimate the last minute backers. It's passed 15k and with the pace it is going this may hit 16k or more.
I genuinely think people do this to Hasbro on purpose because they dislike the Haslab model.

It's jumped up to 17706. My guess is they added in the final count from international 3rd party sellers. That was certainly a nice bump and being 17.7k only helps justify more stuff in the future.

Sooooo happy. Now the year long wait. Ugh its going to be torture. Like waiting for a new movie...
So ok. Now that this is done, think we will get notifications our traps will be sent out and delivered by the 21st which is technically the end of the fall?
Also as far as what they could do next...Im down for a pair of Ecto-Goggles that have a nightvision mode or something. Complete most of the gear. Maybe even pair it with a Giga-Meter to make it another 2 in the box package? The Arm Thrower thing be cool too but i could easly see that as another Nutrena Wand style item.
Id love a firehouse. Hell i'd drop 500 plus on a scaled firehouse with containment unit and the works. But thats likely going to stick to the at home 3D Printing crowd.
Hell makes me want to buy a 3d Printer and print me a 3D Firehouse out and have it ready by the time the Ectos show up next year.
Or...they could do a Gozarian temple playset from the first film. Diden't Dimond select toys do something like that a while back?

Another thing they could put out is a figure pack. Frozen Empire versions of Gary, Callie, Lucky and Trevor, toss in Lars, some extra packs for the Afterlife figures of the OGs, maybe a Janine, Garraka and a few smaller ghosts like Muncher, Pukey and... was it Phosphor from the PRC storage tank?
yourbigpalal83 wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2024, 1:37 am Sooooo happy. Now the year long wait. Ugh its going to be torture. Like waiting for a new movie...Yeah, Diamond did Gozer's temple and the front of the firehouse (complete with a GB1 and GB2 sign). A firehouse in scale for 6" figures would be... MASSIVE. I know Ghostbusters Gear has a larger scaled firehouse scaled to the recent fright feature figures for Frozen Empire and the cost of filament for that has kept me from printing it (I think the last time I priced it out, I could 3D print 2 full proton packs and a trap for the same costs).

Wow, what a finish! To put it in perspective:
This Haslab had the second highest target of all Haslabs. Only the Marvel Galactus was higher at 14,000.
The final amount is higher than the Marvel Giant Man (13,889 at 199.99) and the Star Wars vintage collection cantina (14,737). Both have much larger fanbases and dedicated collectors as well as a steady output of product.
I just hope the rumors about updated GB1 figures will stay rumors. We had 2 waves already. Give me new stuff please.

Eh, I can see them doing the 4 pack to pair with the Ecto-1(s). Not everyone collected them and the uniforms could have been darker (they're a bit too light on the 84 figures).
