That sounds familiar, but it might be from the Ghostbusters Day event. How many of us are planning on using any of the patches on their parkas from the Two in the Box campaign? I'm thinking of using the haslabs patch but not sure where it would go.

The HasLab patch I'm attaching to the strap of my Spengler Pack.

The Engineering patch I'm probably throwing on a jacket since I picked up one off of Etsy already for my uniform.

In addition to the reveal, fans can expect an update regarding the previously funded Two in the Box HasLab project, which is scheduled to ship before the end of the year, either as part of NYCC or beforehand.
Does this mean we'll be able to unbox two in the box alongside the Haslab reveal?

Imagine this:

The ultimate Hasbro Ghostbusters experience:

Ecto Goggles (BT) that communicate with all prior Haslab props; the Hasbro Pack (mic audio), Wand (mic audio), Trap + PKE (EMF & audio).

Everything communicates together.

The PKE sends out a randomly selected ghost signature, the goggles locate it in Augmented Reality 3D space, as you get closer you see it through the goggles! The Haslab ghost trap through EMF signature and mic audio (or bluetooth) preselects the trap ghost sounds to whatever ghost the PKE had randomly preselected. As you get closer the goggles clearly show the ghost in augmented reality infront of you.

You fire the wand and see the stream hit the ghost through the goggles (goggles mic audio pickup (or EMF pickup) from wand), similar to Mattel Ecto Goggles picking up Mattel PKE signature through audio in 2014.

You roll the trap out. Augmented reality detects it in the goggles through EMF or mic audio pickup. The Haslab trap opens to the preselected ghost sounds it received from the Haslab PKE. The proton stream continues to fire in augmented reality through the goggles (microphone audio pickup) until you shut it off.

Mattel did it in 2014 (Mattel PKE + Goggles worked together), I think Hasbro can do better a decade later.

It's a nice idea. I'm not opposed to it.

I'd like to have the EMF function remain as a tool rather then it have pre-programmed functions like that. Should Hasbro come up with an attatchment to connect what they have available that' would be a better option.

They know backers are hyped about using the Meter out in the field, it's not just me. Lol. Having a reliable tool over a toy is a plus.

While true, they did say they are working to make it functional and as demonstrated at the comic con it looks like it works as an EMF detector should. It's my preference but I'd like to have the EMF mode be stand alone. I'm also hoping that these modes don't conflict with each other and all the bugs are worked out before shipping.

I got my email, too. What a great Sunday surprise!

So it's looking like late November/early December for shipments to start and arrive by FedEx. As an example: with the Spengler pack, emails came December 12, 2022 with a January 1 deadline to update records. On December 20, 2022, it was reported the first of the packs arrived in Dublin through a Zavvi pre-order. On December 29, 2022, another email shipping notice was sent. On January 3, 2023, U.S. backers' order status was changed from "Unfulfilled" to "In progress." On January 5, 2023, it was reported U.S. backers' orders were being shipped by FedEx from a Hasbro distribution facility in Chino, California. On January 9, 2023, it was reported U.S. backers' orders were beginning to be shipped by FedEx from Hasbro distribution facilities in Chino, California and Elwood, Illinois with delivery estimates for the end of the week. So for Two In The Box, I would guess November 29 would be the earliest some of us will get it.

Sure, it's possible. November 18 is the cut off. So maybe even November 22.

I doubt it, they would just ship to the address previously provided.

No, all the 'confirm/update email address' thing is about is just giving you a reminder to make sure the address in your Hasbro account is correct. If it is, there's nothing you need to do - no 'I confirm my address is correct' box to check or anything like that. Hasbro sends these emails out before shipment of any pre-order item, not just the Haslabs.

zeta otaku wrote:I'm trying to remember, but with the HasLab pack, did they give us a final look at that year's 1027 panel? Just wondering if we'll get to see the final product of the 2 in the box on the 27th
Yes, on October 27, 2022, a preview was included about 28 minutes into the Hasbro Pulse Premium Livestream and ended around 40:18. A unboxing was first, went through the pack and stuff, talked to the writer of the journal. I think it's likely we'll see something similar for Two in the Box! on Sunday.

I have an email confirmation of my order from when I backed the campaign but cannot see the order in my order history on haslab or hasbro pulse. There is a link to click for orders placed before 2024 but clicking it takes you to a 'page not found'.
This makes me nervous...
