That sounds familiar, but it might be from the Ghostbusters Day event. How many of us are planning on using any of the patches on their parkas from the Two in the Box campaign? I'm thinking of using the haslabs patch but not sure where it would go.

The HasLab patch I'm attaching to the strap of my Spengler Pack.

The Engineering patch I'm probably throwing on a jacket since I picked up one off of Etsy already for my uniform.

In addition to the reveal, fans can expect an update regarding the previously funded Two in the Box HasLab project, which is scheduled to ship before the end of the year, either as part of NYCC or beforehand.
Does this mean we'll be able to unbox two in the box alongside the Haslab reveal?

Imagine this:

The ultimate Hasbro Ghostbusters experience:

Ecto Goggles (BT) that communicate with all prior Haslab props; the Hasbro Pack (mic audio), Wand (mic audio), Trap + PKE (EMF & audio).

Everything communicates together.

The PKE sends out a randomly selected ghost signature, the goggles locate it in Augmented Reality 3D space, as you get closer you see it through the goggles! The Haslab ghost trap through EMF signature and mic audio (or bluetooth) preselects the trap ghost sounds to whatever ghost the PKE had randomly preselected. As you get closer the goggles clearly show the ghost in augmented reality infront of you.

You fire the wand and see the stream hit the ghost through the goggles (goggles mic audio pickup (or EMF pickup) from wand), similar to Mattel Ecto Goggles picking up Mattel PKE signature through audio in 2014.

You roll the trap out. Augmented reality detects it in the goggles through EMF or mic audio pickup. The Haslab trap opens to the preselected ghost sounds it received from the Haslab PKE. The proton stream continues to fire in augmented reality through the goggles (microphone audio pickup) until you shut it off.

Mattel did it in 2014 (Mattel PKE + Goggles worked together), I think Hasbro can do better a decade later.

It's a nice idea. I'm not opposed to it.

I'd like to have the EMF function remain as a tool rather then it have pre-programmed functions like that. Should Hasbro come up with an attatchment to connect what they have available that' would be a better option.

They know backers are hyped about using the Meter out in the field, it's not just me. Lol. Having a reliable tool over a toy is a plus.

While true, they did say they are working to make it functional and as demonstrated at the comic con it looks like it works as an EMF detector should. It's my preference but I'd like to have the EMF mode be stand alone. I'm also hoping that these modes don't conflict with each other and all the bugs are worked out before shipping.

Ordered the '84 wand from Haslabs Europe and hoping it'll get delivered to the UK where is was OOS. Fingers crossed. If not, it was paypal, so refund should be easy.
In other news: Cat pissed on my dry-clean only GB bomber jacket and ruined it.
