So excited for this. I'm particularly excited to grab a bottle of acetone and get rid of the stock weathering and use a paint pen. I'm both shocked and pleasantly surprised how much crap they've managed to stuff into these, both the trap and PKE. though I think the headliner here is definitely the trap. Damn thing has too much customization for a Hasbro product, lmfao
I love that we have a selection of bargraph animations though, I will def experiment with them. Also loving that the relay socket is swappable, so we can have OG or AF style pedals. Not all that happy about the overall quality of the pedal though. I and the rest of the IA Ghostbusters think it's a little odd that they made the pedal, arguably the part that needs to take the most shit, the weakest link. Might need to get my 3d printer working so I can print out a charlesworth pedal base, or ask our franchise's 3d printer man to print one out for a few bucks.

They will inform ahead via email that the shipment is ready, for any last minute address changes that might be needed. People can move in 1.5 years...

As much as I love my Matty PKE...I cannot wait to get my hands on this one. It looks fantastic, absolutely amazing. That the Hasbro GB team managed to morph two props into one functional toy is just pure bliss. Plus it has EMF functionality! Woah woah woah...
The trap is great, except that obviously noone seems to have pointed out that the yellow LED at the end of the bargraph (according to the slimer bust, which is still the trap reference) only lights up after entrapment- Mattel got it right...hope that in 1984 mode this is the function of the trap. But I have doubts, will probably stay that way.

The trap has a ton of modes, combinations etc so i hope that they made it right in some modes. I mean, they put a lot of effort in it and it has a lot of details, i think that we can say that it's probably better than the matty trap. I'll be disappointed if the led doesn't work as it should. To be sure, can we send this message to hasbro so that they can fix it before the production phase eventually? if i recall correctly, someone in here has direct contact with the ghostbusters haslab team

p.s. what is the slimer bust reference you are talking about?

This:
Well this is one of the most famous scene so i don't want to believe that they haven't implemented the trap behaviour correctly. Anyway, to be sure could be better to send some notes to the haslab team. on reddit there is no more opportunity to do this since Emily deleted her account, so if someone has email or direct contact with someone in the team, could report this. thank you

I'd bet money the Has labs team used this as part of their research already. Yeah, i'd be super impressed if they had included Slimer as one of the ghosts you can select, that's kind of expected. It would be really fun if the trap starts to shake and move if you leave it on a ghost long enough.

The longer the ghost is selected the louder and more frequent the sounds and shaking get. Slimer makes annoyed moans and grunts then screams before the automatic shut off kicks in.

I would imagine someone will eventually figure out how to mod this if that features over looked even making it possible for the trap to move on it's own. Give it the appearence the Ghost is trying to break free.

I'm guessing they did (somebody oughta send them a message to make sure), since in the demo video from CC24 the other day they say the switch goes one way for vibration, and the vibration probably is only there for that purpose. BUT, we've seen cooler things be used for less, so we should still contact them.

In the Hasbro Ghostbusters topic, one of the three from YHS responded to something saying he can send them stuff directly. Maybe let him know a question or two we have?

I really hope so, i mean they made an awesome job with the pack and now they surpassed themselves with this two in a box, so i don't want to think that they have mislooked this easy detail, but as other users says it's better to report this to the haslab team to be sure.
other than that, they always said that there will be a lot of easter egg, hidden features etc so i hope that we'll have more than we expect

great idea, is there someone in here which can do that?

Tested posted a video with Two in the Box! at 8:15-14:15 during SDCC
-The items displayed at SDCC are representative of the final engineering prototypes.
-They are starting to primarily focus on final packaging and applying the finishing touches
-Emily said the P.K.E. Meter, Ghost Trap, and the holsters are designed to attach to most belts, they did a lot of testing
-Trap's connector cable features a standard connection so it should be easier to track down a replacement if the original were to be lost, damaged, or you wanted a different length.
-Does still roll nicely on carpet

I hope that they will make it right about the details we talked few posts above

I wouldn't read too much into it. Maybe Hong Kong was always going to receive the items in Winter, but the USA is slightly earlier in "Late Fall". You'd need to find someone who knows whether the Hong Kong page has changed since it was first published. Even then, a delay in Hong Kong doesn't mean anything to the rest of the world.

Presumably it will come up during the Pulse Con event on the 13th, 1 pm ET.

It's been barely a month since SDCC, I assume that display there was meant to tide us over for at least a few months. I'm expecting maybe a final update video sometime in the next 6 weeks, then the product to ship some time in November. That's based on what happened with the proton packs in 2022. Whether it's 1st of November or 30th November is anyone's guess, they'll still technically be "on schedule" even if it's the latter.

Everyone just needs a bit of patience. Things are on track and looking good. Hasbro kind of shot themselves in the foot by releasing the proton pack early, now everyone has higher expectations for all subsequent releases

It's more of a case of no news is good news. If not Pulse Con, they will probably demo it in whenever the next Pulse livestream is, like for instance, with the Proton Pack - they had a feature at Ecto Fest in June 2022, preview/unboxing on a livestream in October 2022, then in December backers got an email saying shipping is about to start/double check the info you provided, then assorted shipping notices, Dublin might have been the first place they were shipped, then around January US backers started getting theirs. For Two in the Box, we saw them in NY at the Firehouse for GB Day and at SDCC in July, so we should see a video soon. The silence heading into the end of summer is nothing new and well is standard going by past precedent. It's all good.

As for Emily leaving Reddit. We can only speculate, but in general, people leaving Reddit? Yeah, not a shocker. Sure there's a chance some kind of legal mumbo jumbo about her, a duly designated corporate representative, having an account on a social media site came to light and she had to delete it. Or whatever. She'll probably rejoin or an official Haslab account will show up. If not one of us will post about the next update on Reddit soon enough.

It's normal to feel antsy heading into the final months before release, because well we all put down some $$$ on a crowdfund.

First off, no new information in this post, just a question for the hive mind:

Was there a video from SDCC or an earlier look at the gear where someone measured the trap and PKE? I SWEAR I remember seeing one, but I might be crossing some synapses here.
