So what are we all hoping for Ghostbusters Day? What are we predicting? It's kind of been lackluster over the last few years being with 2017 was just a poster for ATC. I'd like to see personally:

Hasbro new campaign announcement
updates on two in the box
40th anniversary promotion announcement (if any)
merch
animated movie news (proof of life/afterlife
And the big one maybe a GB 5 tease?

tease the next updates for Spirits Unleashed and Rise of the Ghost Lord
tease the next ultimate collection

Even if Frozen Empire somehow made a billion dollars at the box office, there's no way they'd be announcing or teasing another film that soon, it most likely won't even be out on home/streaming release by June.

But I think there's a strong possibility of something about the animated series. We haven't heard anything whatsoever about the animated movie yet, maybe it's still happening or maybe it's dead in the water. But the series is progressing so June would be an ideal time for a brief teaser, maybe a voice casting announcement or a chance to meet the writing team, even some preliminary artwork would be amazing.

I'd definitely like to hear "the HasLab is shipping early!" again though

Nah. I can see why it took a few months, with Afterlife being only a mild success, but if this one had hit big they probably would've announced it during the second weekend. Probably wouldn't have been anything but a one-line note in the box office reports that Reitman and Kenan were working on another, and then at Fan Fest we'd get an official trade announcement they were writing and maybe a working title, but I don't think it takes that long for studios to get the ball rolling if they sense a hot streak.

As has been said I would say likely an update on the animated series and maybe an update on the two in the box and these GB Joe figures and Ecto 1 release.

on extraplasm this week, Jim mentioned on the Sony lot on GB Day there will be a Frozen Empire screening and a 40th celebration for fans, influencers, Sony folks, etc. and seems to be and invite-only. And hints about another event in the works around Halloween. (Jim talks to Eric Reich about it starting at the 1 hr 11 min. mark)
