Hello,
Would like to know if there is an easy way to distinguish the original Slimer from Kenner and the new one from Hasbro.
Already have Stay Puft, and it's easy with marking under the shoes. But for Slimer, seems less easy.
Maybe the eyes ? or a marking somewhere (don't have any in hand, of course)

Slimer has the same sort of markings on the tail section, near the seam where the two parts of the body connect.

Received some pics from vendors, but never see this marking.

ahhh what an idiot I am. I thought there was a marking on the old Kenner too (like on the bottom of Stay Puft's shoe) ...
In fact, the marking is only on the Hasbro, so I have to look for a ghost without marking...

The old Kenner Slimer also has markings, but they're on the body section rather than the tail:
