One single test fit of an electron tube, turned into 2 hours work on a custom prop. I mainly wanted something that could sit on my desk or shelf, so it's mostly just a display/art piece, inspired by various Ghostbusters props, including Adam Savage's custom Proton Pack Attenuator. The electronics inside are just a basic set of LED Christmas lights, that were originally activated with a basic micro switch button, so I rewired them to be activated by the SPST toggle on the top of the box. Most of the other switches are dummies, but I may add more features soon. Eventually, I'd like to replace the lights with blinking, multi-colored ones, since the current strand is just a set of static white LEDs.
