I've looked at various plans but I haven't been able to find any measurements for how far the cartridge overhangs past the main body of the trap. As I'm building a Benofkent kit, the cartridge sits flush with the front of the body. I've seen tobycj use a sheet of styrene on the back of his cartridge to space it properly, but I wanted to check what was the right measurement to be going for.

I just eyeballed mine as I couldn't find any measurements myself. For reference, it was 4mm styrene if I didn't mention that in my build thread, plus I had a connector that added a couple of mm too.

Ah right, I tried to eyeball mine against various pics and it looked the right distance with about 13mm gap behind the cartridge? As I'm planning on bolting the cartridge in, I won't have a connector to add space.

Just wanted to get some second opinions before I committed.
