Can’t wait - will be great seeing Ghostbusters on the big screen again for the first time since 1984 and meeting Ernie in Sydney.

Does anyone know if you can get both a photo and item signed or is it one or the other?!? Would be happy to pay extra…

The booking website has some info here:

It's possible Ernie isn't going to be signing items, only photos. But you might need to reach out to the event organiser to find out for sure.

There's also Supanova Sydney over that same weekend, Ernie will be there both days if that's easier:

It doesn't say yet how much photos and autographs cost, but I think usually you just pay one autograph fee per item. I had Adam Savage sign one of my Tripod Traps last year at Supanova Adelaide, I only paid one autograph fee so he only signed one of them (which was fine). I also paid extra for a selfie with him, while some of my friends paid for a studio photo with him.
It even says on Ernie's page that you can speak with the event organisers beforehand if you need him to sign more than 10 items (presumably so he can do it separately without holding up the autograph line), but if it's less than that you're probably fine.

From the Supanova FAQ's page:
Are there any restrictions on what I can get signed?
While this is always at our guests’ discretion, most are happy to sign whatever you bring, as long as your item is legitimate (i.e. no counterfeit products) and is appropriate. Don’t have something to bring along? No problem! We offer a complimentary print with any Autograph Token purchase, so feel free to choose one at our guests’ signing desks.

Just did a quick search Ernie usually charges about a $100 for his autograph, I don't know what he charges for photos so I'm assuming that would be a bit more. Before he passed away JDF charged $5o for an autograph and $40 for a photo, as Ernie's a higher caliber celebrity I'd say be prepared to bring a bit of cash with you. He's not like Whittaker who's going to charge you $350 to half a grand.

Thanks to you both for your replies and suggestions - what a fantastic community of Ghostheads!

I've actually booked the "Gold" package which includes:

"1 photo op and 1 autograph (8x10 photo or flat) with Ernie Hudson"

So does seem to include a signature of either a photo or a flat item (eg. Winston Funko Pop box which I was planning on taking with me), but ideally would love to get both the photo as well as flat item signed.

I'll contact the organisers to see whether this would be possible and also take some spare cash on the night - great suggestions!

Will post back here any feedback I receive - stay tuned...
