Hello from Virginia!

Hey there! I’ve sort of been lurking on this site for a while, but I just made my account. I’ve been a fan since I was either 11 or 12 when I found the DVD for GB1 at a yardsale. For Halloween this year, I helped my dad make the pack replicas (although he did most of it). I saw Afterlife a few days after it came out, and I just love how many callbacks it had to the original movies. I was a little bit worried at first since sequels have a tendency of being less good than originals, but I think Afterlife did a great job of having an original storyline while also holding true to the source material, and it really did feel like a love letter to the whole franchise. Sorry for the long post haha, I realize this is supposed to be an introduction and not a movie review.
